This captivating event promises to deliver a unique auditory experience that will leave you mesmerized and tapping your feet. The UTA Percussion Ensemble, under the direction of Dr. Andrew Eldridge, is one of the key components of the percussion curriculum at UTA.The performance will be held in Irons Recital Hall, FA105, located in the South Section of the Fine Arts Building.The doors will open approximately 30 minutes before the performance time.Be aware, no food or drink, aside from bottled water, is allowed in the recital hall.Parking is available in the West Campus Garage, and ADA parking is available at the meters on Nedderman Drive in front of Texas Hall.This recital will also be live streamed at uta.edu/music/live.php.

As a result, media types that were once widely used have become obsolete, but the data stored on these different media formats can be extremely important to the historical record. Visit UTA Special Collections on the sixth floor of Central Library from April 10-25 to explore different types of media formats and how we preserve them for future access! - Apr 239:00 AMTheoria Eclipsium: Curiosity, Captivation, ConnectionUTA Libraries Special Collections is proud to present Theoria Eclipsium: Curiosity, Captivation, Connection, an exhibition featuring over 500 years of Eclipse History!The exhibition features maps, rare books, and photographs from Special Collections and shows that regardless of time period or scientific knowledge, eclipses bring us together! This exhibition was produced in collaboration with students in Dr. Kim Breuer's Medieval Science and Technology class.Opening on Tuesday, March 26, the exhibit will be open Tuesdays through Saturdays 9 a.m.-5 p.m., inside UTA Libraries Special Collections, on the sixth floor of Central Library.Eclipse glasses and other giveaway items will be available for viewers of the exhibit, while supplies last.
