Warm weather wraps around the Metroplex

The Metroplex can expect mostly sunny weather this week, with highs in the upper 90s and lows in the lower 70s. Daniel Huckaby, National Weather Service meteorologist, said temperatures will gradually rise during the week, with mid to late week heat index values near 100 or exceeding 100. Chances of rain will also return this weekend. “We're coming up on the autumnal equinox here, later in the week, so [we] should be talking about fall weather, but unfortunately, it's going to feel more like summer,” Huckaby said. @reyyhankilic news-editor.shorthorn@uta.edu
