The Professional Skills Academy (PSA) is a chance for you to meet in a small group with a staff member to learn more about the career competencies expected by today's employers, such as career and self-development, communication, critical thinking, leadership, professionalism, teamwork, and technology. There are seven total sessions. Each session will start with a presentation from the staff member, and there will be small group activities, and a debrief. If you attend all seven sessions, you will receive a PSA Certificate at the end of the program. Space is limited to the first 30 students.

This workshop will provide an overview of best practices for managing research data throughout the research life cycle. Topics will include data collection and organization, as well as data storage and preservation. The group will examine what goes into drafting an effective data management plan that complies with funder requirements, and how to use the DMPTool to create these documents.

This is a great class that uses a variety of equipment that will tone and strengthen your entire body. This class will have you sweating hard and feeling accomplished.

Brace yourself for an electrifying workout experience that blends the power-packed moves of kickboxing. Every session is a thrilling combination of strength, agility, and cardiovascular training designed to keep you at the top of your game. This 30-minute cardio session class will be quick, fun, and will have you jabbing and kicking up a nice sweat!   

This mind and body class utilizes yoga movements to improve your flexibility, posture, strength, and balance. The class will bring attention and focus to your breath while you flow from one posture to the next.
