JUCO Product Tuscan Onuoha Signs With Mavs

ARLINGTON, Texas – Tuscan Onuoha, a 6-11 center, will join Head Coach KT Turner and the UT Arlington men's basketball program for the 2024-25 season.
 
Onuoha spent the past two seasons at Dodge City Community College where he appeared in 33 games, making two starts for the Conquistadors. He missed all the 2023-24 season due to injury.
 
During his freshman campaign, Onuoha averaged 13.2 minutes per game where he shot 48-percent from the floor on 49-for-102 shooting for an average of 3.5 points per game. He put up 114 points on the season while collecting 81 total rebounds for an average of 2.5 per game. Onuoha was fourth on the team in blocked shots with 12 on the year while also finishing with seven steals for the season.
 
Hailing from Sydney, Australia, Onuoha spent his preparatory years at the MacDuffie School in Granby, Massachusetts.
 
Onuoha joins Lance Ware, Jaxon Ellingsworth, Troy Hupstead, Darius Burford, Brody Robinosn, Diante Smith, Jaden Wells, Jarren Cook, Raysean Seamster and Cameron Jackson as signees for the upcoming 2024-25 season.
