Two-time defending WAC Tournament Champion Grand Canyon is set to visit the College Park Center on Saturday, Feb. 15, the second-ever visit for the Lopes. Last season 2,871 fans filled the CPC, the building's highest-attended game of the campaign. UTA and GCU met for a third time last year in the WAC title game in Las Vegas.

UTA opens league play with three consecutive road contests in January, the most to start a conference schedule since the 2020-21 season when the Mavs had four consecutive road tilts to start Sun Belt play.

Season ticket deposits for the 2024-25 UT Arlington basketball season remains open as the Mavs continue preparation for the coming season. With a one-time deposit of only $50/seat, fans can lock in their season ticket(s) at the state-of-the-art College Park Center as UTA ushers in its third-straight season in the highly competitive WAC:

  • The deposit guarantees all renewing season-ticket holders the same seat(s) as the 2023-24 season, and/or will put them in line for a potential upgrade or change in location, if desired.
  • For all new season-ticket purchasers, the deposit gives priority toward all remaining seat allocations.
  • Provides the opportunity for potential interactive experiences with both head coaches through the Maverick Club.

All deposit payment(s) will be applied to the final season ticket total once prices are finalized. Tickets will officially go on sale soon, with more information to be posted on UTAMavs.com and UTATickets.com.

To make a payment over the phone or in person, please contact the UTA Box Office during normal business hours at 817-272-9595 or boxoffice@uta.edu.

The Mavs are coming off a season in which they won 20 games under first-year head coach KT Turner which culminated in a berth in the WAC Tournament Final. Heading into the final's appearance, the Mavs held an eight-game winning streak, which was tied for the 4th longest in program history. UTA returns a pair of key contributors in guards Brandyn Talbot and Kade Douglas, and added 11 talented transfers to complete its roster.

UTA's 2024-25 non-conference schedule is still being finalized, and those matchups will be announced in the coming weeks.
