Track And Field Conclude The NCAA West Regionals
FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The UT Arlington track and field team concluded the NCAA Regionals this Saturday with the women's high jump and women's 100m dash.
In the women's high jump, Kaliah Jones concluded her season with a 1.76m leap, tying her outdoor personal record. She finished the event in 24th place.
In the women's 100m dash, Madison Pippins competed in quarterfinals this Saturday, finishing with a pace of 11.29. That pace was the second fastest in her collegiate career as she set an outdoor PR of 11.16 on Thursday, May, 23.
Overall, the Mavs will be sending Randon Gray and Lucas Van Klaveren to Eugene, Oregon for the NCAA Track And Field Championships. The Championships will be held from June 5-8 at the Hayward Field just outside the campus of the University of Oregon.
