Imanol Arconada Joins Staff As Women's Assistant Tennis Coach

ARLINGTON, Texas – Imanol Arconada has joined the UT Arlington staff as the assistant women's tennis coach for the upcoming 2024-25 season.
 
"I am very excited about the addition of Imanol to our coaching staff as our new assistant coach," said Head Tennis Coach Diego Benetiz. "He brings a wealth of experience, having coached at the WTA tour level. I look forward to starting to work with him, aiming to take our team to the next level."
 
Arconada played ITF juniors and his best ranking was 100 in the world. Arconada played at Ball State for two seasons, helping the Cardinals to a regular season Mid-American Conference title in 2013. He went on to get his B.S. in Criminal Justice from UMET.
 
Arconada travelled as a coach with pro player Usue Arconada that was 120 WTA.
 
A native of Buenos Aires, Argentina before moving to Puerto Rico at the age of 14 due to his father's job as the coach of the National Volleyball Team.
