First Fall Action Concludes For Women's Tennis
DENTON, Texas – The UT Arlington women's tennis team kicked off its fall season over the weekend at the Diving Eagle Invite hosted by North Texas at the Waranch Tennis Complex.
The weekend was highlighted by Adela Latalova's play, who went 2-2 in singles play and 2-3 in doubles action.
Nika Novikova went 1-1 in singles and in doubles play over the weekend.
Maria Lucia Araoz won her only singles action of the weekend while going 2-1 in doubles action.
Ana Paula Jimenez and Ioana Dumitrescu both dropped their only singles action of the weekend. Jimenez won her only doubles action while Dumitrescu went 1-1.
Valeriia Ivanovskaia went 1-3 in signles play and 1-1 in doubles action.
The Mavericks will be back in action two weekends from now, Oct. 4 through the 6, at the SMU Invitational.
