- Aug 21–22VistaThe summer in Texas can often be described as an endurance test. It is hot, humid, and though there are those who are brave enough to battle the rising temperatures during their daily adventures, the heat often keeps many inside. Unfortunately, this causes them to miss out on the spectacular seasonal views that are found all across the state’s many eco-regions, from the Blackland Prairies to the South Texas Plains. This exhibition contains a series of landscapes from the UTA Fine Art Collections that bring the beauty of a Texas vista to our viewers from the comfort of our air-conditioned gallery. In addition to these works, a selection of Texas native flora and fauna will be included to enhance the experience.Visit the exhibition throughout the summer semester, Monday, June 10 – Thursday, Aug. 29, 2024.
