The UTA CARES Grant Program, sponsored by UTA Libraries, was established in 2017 to support educators interested in practicing open education through the adoption of OER and, when no suitable open resource is available, through the creation of new OER or the adoption of library-licensed or other free content. This is the second session of the grant information series. You are more than welcome to ask any questions or concerns about the information being provided.

The Professional Skills Academy (PSA) is a chance for you to meet in a small group with a staff member to learn more about the career competencies expected by today's employers, such as career and self-development, communication, critical thinking, leadership, professionalism, teamwork, and technology. There are a total of seven sessions. Each session will start with a presentation from a staff member, and there will be small group activities and a debrief. If you attend all seven sessions, you will receive a PSA Certificate at the end of the program. Space is limited to the first 30 students.

This is a great class that uses a variety of equipment that will tone and strengthen your entire body. This class will have you sweating hard and feeling accomplished.

Students, learn about how to get involved in undergraduate research in the College of Science! The event starts with an info session and Q&A panel from 3-4 p.m. in SEIR 298 featuring faculty and current students who are conducting research, followed by a mixer from 4-5 p.m. in the SEIR second floor atrium where students can talk with College of Science faculty about how to get involved in research.

This 30-minute cardio session class will be quick, fun, and will have you jabbing and kicking up a nice sweat!
