Building good exercise habits in college can lead to lifelong health benefits. The CDC recommends 2.5 hours a week of physical activity, or 30 minutes over five days. UTA offers many avenues to help you meet your fitness needs.
Nutrition
You may be familiar with the basic food groups: fruits, vegetables, grains, protein, dairy, and fat. But understanding how to combine these into a healthy diet can be daunting. Schedule a consultation with our experts or look at our resources below.
Nutrition Consultation
One-on-one nutrition counseling with a registered, licensed dietitian is available. Each session is $25.00 and there is a two-session minimum. Additional sessions are available as needed.
