- All dayFall Leadership RetreatExperience a weekend to enhance your potential to make an impact on campus. Participants will be empowered to create meaningful moments and practice leadership in their organizations, campus community, and beyond. Make new friends while participating in this UTA tradition.Reatreat is open to all UTA Students.Space is limited.Registration is open until Friday, Sept. 15, or until program capacity has been met.$50 fee covers transportation, meals, lodging, leadership programming, supplies, and social activities throughout the weekend. There are two types of registration options: Sponsorship or Self-Pay.Sponsorship: Are you a member of a student organization? Are you a student employee? Share your interest in this opportunity with your student organization leadership team/your supervisor and ask if they are able to sponsor your participation. Select "Check Out with Sponsorship" if your supervisor or staff advisor has agreed to sponsor your retreat fee. (Please know that you should have approval by that department prior to completing sign up form. You will need their contact information for the check out process.)Self-Pay: Check out with self-pay if you are paying on your own in order to attend. Insurance Information: You will need to submit an emergency contact (someone who is not attending Retreat with you) and your Insurance information during the registration process. Please have that ready when you register.CANCELLATION POLICY: Refunds will not be given for cancellations. - 10:00 AM7hThe Gallery at UTA ExhibitionPaper Trails is a three-person exhibition featuring artists Cecelia Feld (Dallas), Jessica Drenk (Rush, NY) and Rachel Livedalen (Fort Worth). The exhibition curated by Gallery Director Dr. AugustJordan Davis and Visual Resources Curator Lilia Kudelia focuses on how each artist engages with the materiality of paper and books in their artworks, often to unexpected ends. Appropriation, layering, collage, and repurposing of texts, pages, and paper feature across the selected collages, prints, paintings, digital media, and installations forming Paper Trails.Cecelia Feld creates brightly colored abstract collages and monotype prints using a variety of materials including photographs, magazines, and her own handmade Japanese marbled papers. Jessica Drenk recycles books, carboard and junk mail to create 3-D sculptures and sculptural wall pieces that appear made of natural materials such as wood and stone. Rachel Livedalen produces paintings, prints, and artist books that juxtapose art historical references with "girl power" iconography to comment on representations of femininity.
- 11:00 AM45mGroup Exercise - Xplosion XpressThis 45-minute class is a full body workout that will leave you feeling strong and powerful. There will be various stations that you will move through which will target different muscles of your body, building strength, and cardiovascular endurance. The class is limited to 10 participants. 
- 12:00 PM50mGroup Exercise - Strength TrainingStength Training is a great class that will use a variety of equipment that will tone and strengthen your entire body. This class will have you sweating hard and feeling accomplished.
- 1:00 PM30mGroup Exercise - Funky FitnessFunky Fitness will be an exciting, easy-to-follow dance that explores different eras and themes of dance. All are curated to keep you on your toes, and your workout routine lively and full of variety. Come and get ready to groove to diverse dance styles and music, ensuring a fun and energetic session each time. Unleash your inner dancer and leave feeling like a superstar!
- 1:30 PM1hGroup Exercise - YogaThis mind and body class utilizes yoga movements to improve your flexibility, posture, strength, and balance. This yoga class will bring your attention and focus to your breath while you flow from one posture to the next. 
- 2:00 PM50mGroup Exercise - Flare & FinesseThrough empowering choreography and confidence boosting routines, you’ll discover the strength and grace within. Join for a class that celebrates your unique beauty and empowers you to shine from the inside out to build a more powerful you.
- 3:00 PM45mGroup Exercise - CycleGo for a spin! This ride is for everyone. Try this class of high intensity, medium impact cardio training in your target heart rate zone. A towel and water are required. There is a 12 participant limit.
- 4:00 PM45mGroup Exercise - ZumbaGet ready to party yourself into shape! This exhilarating, easy to follow, Latin-inspired, calorie-burning, dance fitness-party will move YOU!  
- 4:30 PM45mGroup Exercise - Strength & ConditioningThis is a full body workout designed to work on your strength, ignite your muscles, and build solid power. this strenth and conditioning class will focus on using added resistance and body weight to strengthen muscles and increase muscular endurance. The goal is to deliver a fun, safe, and effective workout but to also move our bodies and have fun.
- 7:30 PM1hFaculty Piano Recital: Dr. John SolomonsJoin us for a recital with John Solomons!The performance will be held in Irons Recital Hall, FA105, located in the South Section of the Fine Arts Building.The doors will open approximately 30 minutes before the performance time.Be aware that no food or drink, aside from bottled water, is allowed in the recital hall.Parking is available in the West Campus Garage, and ADA parking is available at the meters on Nedderman Drive in front of Texas Hall.
